Regarding meftal p syrup

My baby is suffering from fever ( viralfever ) since Wednesday and doc gave me meftal p syrup as her temperature is high and can I give her that syrup every. Six hours r four hours as her temperature is not getting down

hi.. you have't mentioned the temperature of your baby as for temperatures more them 103 degree farenheit meftal is recommended. Ideally the dose will be decided by the doctor and then split into number of doses in a day. So would advise you to consult your paediatrician regarding the dosage instructions
