Could hpv can be transmitted from oral sex.what are the initial symptoms for hpv ?? What is the incubation period for hpv.??

any contact skinor mucosal can cause infection. hpv  infection can occur anytime within few days to months afyer contact. the symptoms are normally as of viral infection .you may have warts on skin which may resolve themselves or require treatment.

Thank you for your question. Any close skin to skin contact can allow HPV transmission. The incubation period can be from a week or longer. There may not be any symptoms at all for many days, months or years. The trigger for warts to appear may be injury, scratching of surface, lower immunity etc. Not all HPV cause warts. some viruses stay in the layers of the skin / vagina/ cervix and cause changes over many years that can be precancerous. There are over 35 different HPV of which some specific ones are associated with warts and others with precancerous changes. The HPV vaccine prevents the precancerous ones particularly but Gardasil also protects against some wart causing hpc
