Regarding cold and cough
Hello doctor, Good morning! My husband affected with covid with lung involvement on May 2021. He was hospitalized 1 month with o2 support and got cured. Everything was normal for one year. For past 9 months he is getting cold frequently like 2 to 3 months once. Last December he got cold and cough. Cough was there a month. Now again (2 weeks ago) he affected with cold and cough. Cold got cured but cough is there. He coughs 5 to 6 throughout the day. His o2 is 97 or 98. Why he is getting repeated cold and cough? Is this any related to post covid? Does any need test needed?

Your husband may have residual infection, he needs to undergo a proper evaluation with drug sensitivity testing, as this is a chronic issue I'm assuming you have taken a variety of medicine which hasn't worked.
Yes conditions like this is possible post COVID as it damages the lungs making it more susceptible
