Regarding chronic urticaria

Hello doctor, I have been suffering from chronic urticaria since past 5 years. No dermatologist has been able to find out the trigger. Several tests have been done. Actually, I've been talking oriel-M (levocetrizine and montelukast) every night, my itching is under control. If I skip my medicine for atleast 1 day then severe itching starts in my entire body (including eyes, inside ears, sneezing as well). Red patches occurs and fades away after sometime. Doctors told me to keep taking antihistamine. I want to ask, will the long term use of levocetrizine damage my kidneys, liver etc... or any other organ? Or is it fine to take it ?

It is fine to take it There exists a subset of chronic Urticaria called idiopathic A lot of these cases are resulting from a condition called autoimmune A substance in your blood causes your allergy cells to burst It requires different medicine trials to find best suitable medicine Also realise stress increases your condition, so popping one tablet without worry would be best for you. If you want you may further consult
