IOL selection is patients choice Monofocal IOL gives vision for distance, they need glasses for near work like reading, knitting etc Multifocal IOL gives sharp vision for distance and near vision . These IOLs provide freedom from glasses. Monofocals are lesser price compared to Multifocals .
