Hi ..I am 32 yrs old female..My upper tooth is protruded with gap..Though I had been told since childhood to go for braces,I managed with it as I couldn't convince my parents.. Recently a dentist that I had visited told me that lower teeth hitting upper teeth ll make the upper ones root weak and they ll fall one by one if I don't go for braces at least now. Is it going to be helpful wearing braces in early thirties or just waste of time? Please clarify..
