Hi is it necessary to apply antibiotic for a knee wound without any sign of infection, to prevent infection...won't it cause future drug resistance if used often... actually I started using it n applied for one day (three dose over)...wound is better...shall I stop it or should I need to complete course since I started if so hw many to use

If it's a topical antibiotic use it until the wound is dry. However regular use is not advised. The advantages are that you give lesser dose of antibiotics and since you apply directly over the wound it' will act better.
