Redness on lips

For the past 2 days my lips (the inner part of the lips) are very red and they bleed when I stretch them like during brushing. I have been applying Glycerine from the time it appeared but I am not seeing much change. Initially I thought it was cracked lips due to heat but now I realise it's the inner side of lips. Kindly help.
