For best result surgical interventions needed, diabetes is not an issue, there are two types of implant available i.e. rush nail and plates and screws . These two are different in pros and cons .In rod alignment is there but rotational alignment is not controlled and scar is minimal. But in scar is large but rotational alignment is controlled.
Next Steps
For better understanding you can reach out clinic or do online consultation for clarification.
