Red Spot underneath Tongue
Today I noticed a red spot underneath my tongue, it's painless and bright red. Can anyone explain as to why this happened ... as it appeared just recently , I plan on monitoring it for next few days.
Ps - I have history of Smoking.

Thanks for sharing the concern and the image. Based on what you’ve described and from the visual, the red spot under the tongue could be due to several common causes:
1. Traumatic Ulcer or Minor Injury
2. Dilated Submucosal Vessel / Capillary Hemangioma
3. Irritation from Smoking

Monitor for the next 7–10 days
Consider a review with an ENT or oral medicine specialist if no improvement or if concerning signs appear

Hello,
The red spot under your tongue appears to be an ulcer, possibly caused by irritation, heat, or trauma. Can be secondary to viral infection also. Given your history of smoking, it is important to monitor it closely.

If the lesion does not improve within few days, or if you notice more spots, pain, or changes in size/appearance, please consult an ENT specialist for a proper evaluation.

Nothing seems to be worried about
It could be because of trauma during brushing your teeth/
Could be hot cigarette kept underneath tongue/ trauma due to constantly touching with your finger

Monitor for next 2 days …. Apply zytee lotion by then!!
