It's a traumatic lesion due to sharp cusps and fracture 1st  mandibular molar . Visit d dentist get the sharp edges smothened , get restoration or rct if required for 1st mandibular  molar . Wait for a week if still d lesion persists then visit an oral medicine and radiologist.  I M AN Oral Medicine and Radiologist ,u can consult  me if it does nt subside as it may require a proper clinical examination  followed by biopsy of d lesion .

First, if you are self medicating stop it please. The cause for the lesion might be due to the fractured tooth( due to decay). The cause should be cleared.

There can be two reasons why this ulcerative lesion is not healing despite medication 1. The causative agent - in your case the sharp edges of your molar teeth are persistently irritating the lesion and not allowing it to heal. 2. It could be cancerous. However, that is usually accompanied by symptoms like sudden weight loss or pain etc. In either case, visit your dentist, they will evaluate it, if the edges of the teeth need to be smoothened to make them less impinging, your dentist will do it. If they feel a biopsy is needed to rule out anything serious, they will do the needful. There is no need to panic as such. Some ulcers take time to heal. Get your hemoglobin checked as well. Long standing ulcers are sometimes due to chronic deficiencies also.

.it’s already a month old not responding to steroids. Why take chances.??Visit an oral medicine specialist. A biopsy may or may not be required for the diagnosis.
