My gum is bit red over a tooth root canal 5 months earlier is it because i had hard almonds yesterday or ot might be some other issues.. please help

Good evening mam, Wait for few days, if it is due to almond it will heal by its own. If won't go than you have to get a dental xray done and check if there is any reinfection in root canal treated tooth. Or infection in any other adjacent tooth.
