  4. Recurring fever. For the fever alone?

My daughter had severe fever cold 4 days back and she was treated with antibiotics and cold medicines. She got better by 3rd day end. However she is feeling chills and getting fever again and again. The fever subsides with p250. But it keeps on coming back. Is she having a viral infection? When does she gets back normal and should I get her to the doctor or just give p250 for the fever alone? Plz help P.s- we all had fever and cold in our family.

If the baby is not looking sick when afebrile and as told by you everyone in the family is having fever and cold Most likely its viral fever Paracetamol every 4-6 hrly as per weight, adequate hydration and proper feeds would suffice Be watchful for danger signs Patience is the key in viral fever
