You are very recently fully vaccinated (Oct 2025 + Feb 2026 full course + extra dose). Your immune system is already strongly protected. Now regarding today’s scratch: • If no skin break / no bleeding → Category I → No vaccine needed • If very superficial scratch without bleeding → In a person recently fully vaccinated, no additional dose is usually required • RIG is NOT required because you are previously vaccinated. You have already taken more doses than medically necessary. There is no indication to restart or repeat the schedule.
Next Steps
✔ Wash the area thoroughly with soap and running water for 15 minutes ✔ Apply povidone iodine ✔ Observe the dog for 10 days (if possible) ✔ Do NOT start new vaccine doses unless clear skin break with bleeding If you are unsure whether the skin was broken, you can send a clear description or photo for clinical assessment before taking any further decision.
Health Tips
✔ Do not keep repeating rabies vaccines unnecessarily ✔ Avoid overthinking every minor scratch ✔ Keep a proper vaccination record ✔ Address health anxiety if this pattern is repeating You are already strongly protected based on your recent vaccination history. If you want a precise, date-wise confirmation tailored to your exposure timeline for complete peace of mind, booking a structured online consultation would help finalize the decision confidently and avoid unnecessary extra doses.

Since you have completed rabies vaccination just 1 week ago, you're well protected. Treat the wounded area throughly with soap and water and take care .
