RCT is require before bridge
Hello,doc. My left upper jaw premolar was fractured & part fallen,dentist recommended extraction of same but could not do it completely even after local anesthesia b & spend 1 hr,it was partly removed. He said he will send me to specialist to remove it completely. What could be reason ? Secondly my rt lower premolar was removed 6 months back & I want to do bridge for it last molar & adjoining second premolar is not sensitive & not painful but still he recommended me to do both of tooth RCT ?
There could be various reasons for your tooth breaking during extraction. Your dentist is right in referring you to an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon.
I am conservative so am against elective RCT just so that you can take support from a tooth. But opinions vary.

Hey hi u want permanent solution.. get a Rct done n than cap.. intentional Rct I suggest.. have seen in many case people get pain after 2 to 3 years tha doc remove d cap . Do Rct than while removing tooth ya cap break they charge u again .. n u have to bare d pain.. so I suggest n I practice Rct than cap is better always
Coming to ur tooth removal.. anatomy of all tooth r nt same.. sometime tooth get ankolysed ya break .. if they r unable to remove.. let him call a surgeon
