Rashes behind the eat

From the last 4 days my ear got itchy( behind the ear) . now it is drying up and cracking up too. I have applied moisturizer but again it keeps on drying up and cracking. If I just rub behind my ear gently, small parts of dead skin is falling off. Please help Me in this regard. thanks in advance.
