Rabies vaccination

2023-01-14 13:51:07
Sir, I have taken Anti Rabies Vaccine on 08 May, 11 May, 15 May, 05 June 2022 for a scratch by a bot and further I have also taken 2 booster doses on 19 September and 22 September 2022 for a suspected scratch by dog. For how long I don't require further vaccination for any exposure???? Can the above vaccination and booster protect me from any further unnoticed exposure in future???

If it's a really rabid animal, you need vaccination irrespective of your previous history

You should get an Antibody test done. Theoretically a person should have a full course of Anti-Rabies Vaccine if he has a second exposure to a suspected Rabid animal after a gap of 3 months from the completion of vaccination.
