I am hiv positive (since 1 month, no symptoms, doctor told to check again and confirm with some other test) and I haven't started medication yet. I've finished the 5 dose chirorab 3 months before and I've taken 2 doses on dec 1st and dec 3rd. Yesterday on dec 13th a dog bit me on my face, it wasn't a very severe wound but my eyes were red and my checks bleeded a little. I went to a doctor and he assured me I'm safe but another doctor friend told me to take both hrig and 5 doses of vaccine. I'm getting really worried, should I take another consultation? If yes please suggest which speciality doctor should I consult for this.
