I am a vitiligo patient. I use ointment  over these patches like Tacrolimus and sorofix. (1)Tacrolimus 0.1 ointment and Sorifix Ointment are Steriods? (2)When these ointment is applied over patches then in how much time these ointment get observed in skin and start working? (3) How effective are these ointment for vitiligo patient? Pls help.

1) They r not steroid creams 2) They get absorbed with 10-15 mins but the effect of action of the creams will take months to show results 3) They r effective but again it depends on the type of vitiligo and the duration and response to creams. Oral medication is also a must. Only topical wont give complete remission.
