My mom is unsergoing treatment for Herpes Zoster that she had developed recently. She is diabetic. My queries- How long does it take for Herpes Zoster to get cured? I would also like to know if she can have papaya and apples in fruits and tea in beverages?

Hello dear. Herpes zoster is viral infection and can take 8-10 days for acute infection to heal. However, as the virus remains in the body, it is not completely curable and can recur especially in immunosuppressed patients Please consult online for proper evaluation and treatment of post herpetic neuralgia or pain
