Hello, I understand your concern. After piles surgery, it is common to have some sticky watery/pus-like discharge for 2–3 weeks as the wound heals. General advice: Continue sitz bath 2–3 times daily (plain warm water is sufficient). Keep the anal area clean and dry after each wash. Take high-fiber diet, plenty of water, and stool softeners if needed. What to monitor: If discharge becomes foul smelling or thick pus. Increasing pain, swelling, or redness near the wound. Fever or bleeding. Medicines: Since it’s already 15 days, please review once with your operating surgeon. Sometimes short course of antibiotics or wound cleaning is required. Avoid self-medicating. When to consult urgently: Severe pain not relieved by medicines Heavy bleeding per rectum High fever with chills If symptoms persist or worsen, kindly visit your surgeon for proper evaluation. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
