Puppy tongue bleed

My puppy was playing with us suddenly he got a cut in his mouth or tongue and it started to bleed we applied ice and it stopped is it common ? My vet said he is alright but I am worried

Until ur pet puppy can take food take food on its own, he is active and the wound doesn't get secondary bacterial infection (pus in wound) and wound healed completely,  u don't need to worry at all... Thank you ...
