Hi A prominent right hilar shadow on a chest X-ray means the root area of your right lung appears larger or denser than normal, usually due to enlarged lymph nodes, blood vessels, or a mass. Especially in India, and 1 to 1.5 years of cough, breathlessness, chest heaviness point towards TB. Get a HRCT chest for better understanding of hilar shadow. Sputum for AFB as well
