Prolactin Increased
My Prolactin Serum increased in last 2 months.
In Jan it was 35.5, i took some tablets as prescribed, but now after test my , count has been increased to 40.5.
What can be the reason behind this?

Prolactin is secreted in pulses in the body so before making an opinion about the raised prolactin. levels it is advisable to get 3 samples of prolactin done and then take the average to know the exact value

you can also do a pool prolactin level....
if you have a history of headaches and blurring of vision please do an MRI brain also rule out any pituitary macroadenoma which is associated with raised prolactin levels
