2019-06-22 05:17:53
I met with an accident 10 days before till then my wrist is not moving properly and there is pain and i am unable to lift anything using thumb. I hv get xray done but they said there is no fracture visible. Plz suggest is it a symptom of hairline fracture or else and what should I do

Doubtful x-rays like yours need zooming on the computer of digital x-rays.better done by a radiologist report on PACs system. . Request for your radiology report. It can be soft tissue injury and it takes atleast 3 weeks to settle down

Please post X-ray photos if possible. It could be contusion only and if the blow to your wrist/ hand in accident was with high velocity then it will take more time to normalise. Absent of fracture doesn’t means no pain or swelling. Your soft tissue could have been damaged which will pain equally as fracture rather will take more time to subside.

It will be more appropriate if you share the X-rays Sometime the X-rays can be normal and still pain persists then a plaster cast is applied for rest for 3 weeks Please visit a nearby Orthopaedic Surgeon who can examine you clinically and proceed Thanks
