Problem in ear
My mother had common cold 2 weeks back. She took paracetamol . After 4 days she was ok. But certainly last week she faced another issue with her ear. Her ear became stuffy with severe headaches. Due to lockdown situation she is not able to go to the hospital because where she is stay that is red zone. Now she is not able to listen in her one ear. Another is fine. And when she lying down in bed she feels dizzy for some times. What's this problem? Can you prescribe some medicines or drops or home remedies that she can try in her home? Thank you.
The cold seems to have gone to her ear and created SOM. That is why the blocked feeling decreased hearing and dizziness

From the complaints that you have mentioned it seems that she has got ear infection due to common cold as a result of which ear has blocked this is known as SOM.
