Visual recovery faster in lasik slower in prk Prk preferred in low refractive errors as it os extremely safe Lasik preferred in refractive error above -4D Chances of getting glasses are less if pre operative lasik workup is done thoroughly and you fit into criteria for refractive surgery

Hello LASIK is definitely better as it is totally painless and has quick recovery. Though lasik is permanent procedure however a person may need glasses in future.

Lasik is more widely accepted and recent . However both have some or the other benifits over each other. To summarise lasik is better.
