Prescribed Ovral G for contraception

I was initially prescribed one cycle as that was my requirement, but I need to take it for two cycles now. Should I take it everyday for six weeks, or 21 days on and 7 days off for contraception?

You should not take oral contraceptive pills for one or two cycles. As it is, the pills become effective only from the second month. They cannot be relied upon during the first month of use. For occasional use an emergency contraceptive pill is the best.

Overall g has only 20 tablets it has to be taken for 20 days Everytime starting from day one of the period IrRespective of the seven day pill free period
