Hi Doctors, My wife is pregnant 8 weeks, we took blood test and the platelet count is 5.1L. Is it normal to have high platelet count?

Yes it is Low platelets are a matter of concern not high

Observe in future tests , you will need to meet a haematologist if this high platelet persists but in my practice I have seen high very commonly
