Pregnancy- subchrionic hematoma-8 week
I am 8 weeks 4 days pregnant. I have attached my ultrasound report. It shows a single live intrauterine pregnancy with CRL 19.54 mm, FHR 176 bpm, and a subchorionic hematoma of 19 cc involving around 50% of the gestational sac circumference. I had fresh bleeding earlier for 2 days, but it has stopped from last 7 days. I am taking dydrogesterone 20 mg and progesterone 300 mg.
My questions:
How concerning is this hematoma size and 50% sac involvement at this stage? Are there chances that pregnancy will grow normally?
When should I repeat ultrasound to monitor the hematoma? Any additional tests or scans required apart from routine tests or scans?

You should take an adequate amount of rest. You can do your routine chores at home.
Get a sonography done every week. It is required for monitoring the growth of the embryo.
Anything can happen. It may continue to grow into a healthy baby or else it can end in an abortion too.

Subchorionic hematomas are fairly common in early pregnancy and many shrink and resolve on their own with rest, especially once bleeding has already stopped.

We considered as poor prognostic marker for pregnancy if it occupies more than 75%
In urs , it s 50% --- let's monitor its size in 7 days .
Chances of normal pregnancy- depends on the progression or regression of size of hematoma
Repeat in a week( get TVS)
