Prediabetic or not??

Recently I had a blood test done for hair treatment. I had to get hba1c, fasting glucose and insulin. The results shook me, my hba1c is 5.8, fasting glucose is 83 and fasting insulin is 2.76. I kept taking pin prick glucose test after that for a month and everytime the levels are normal mostly close to 90 2-3 hrs after eating and close to 80 fasting. I would like to point out my vit b12 was close to deficient and vit D levels were deficient. My dad has t2 diabetes, I'm a little concerned. Does this mean I'm prediabetic?

Hi. You are Pre diabetic as per your blood reports. Don't worry about it. U can reverse pre diabetes with proper lifestyle changes. Like exercise and diet. Food timings should be regular. No late night dinner. Avoid sugars and refined carbs. Since u r young, start gyming or start playing some sport or start walking.
Next Steps
Repeat your HbA1c after 3 months of following lifestyle changes.
