I have a preauricular pit which gets infected frequently. Some time back a doctor suggested to go for a surgery for closing the pit permanently. How much does it cost for the surgery and are there any complications?

That depends upon the extent of the preauricular sinus. In Bangalore, at the Rajajinagar unit of Fortis(where I usually operate), it could cost you upto ₹65,000 all inclusive, in the General Ward. When done at a Nursing Home, it could cost you about ₹40,000-50,000 all inclusive.
