Continue healthy diet Add more protein Avoid sugar, jaggery, carbonated drinks, avoid fruit juices, bakery products and fried foods. Start exercising Strength training upto 180 minutes a week It helps to built up muscle strength and prevent insulin resistance Walk for 15 minutes after every meal. Keep regular checks on HbA1C Also need to rule out other causes of falsely high HbA1C like anaemia, blood disorders, alcohol intake.
