I have recently attended a wisdom tooth extraction and got my tooth removed. I'm yet to get my stitches removed but i am facing pain sometimes when eating. It's been 4 days now, how many days does pain will still be? Please help me

Hi...Need not to worry...slight discomfort is there after extraction.. it wil be ok soon..follow ur medicines as prescribed and get ur sutures removed as adviced by ur dentist..best of luck take care

Hi.. If it's a surgical extraction then it usually takes seven days. But pain also can be brought down by giving IV injection. Ask your dentist more about it. Regards

Hi there...need not to worry ...it happens after wisdom tooth removal...it will be there for a maximum of 7-10 days ... All you can do is keep that area clean... And rinse your mouth with leukwarm salt water plus a pinch of alum...to potentiate the healing ... Take care ...!!

Usually it will b there for 5-10days depending on how difficult the extraction was.pain only when chewing may be because of the muscle spasm due to the injection.

Wisdom tooth extraction is a surgical procedure.It takes time to heal.So get it checked when you go for suture removal.There should not be any other complication like dry socket which intensifies the pain.So it needs dressing.The healing time is at least 15-20 days.
