Post Extraction bleeding

2017-07-21 01:42:00
I had my wisdom tooth extracted last evening. Post my dinner (had idlis) slight bleeding started. I had a gauze for sometime and then threw it.. slept for the night. Today morning I see the bleeding continues but is very less. Is this normal and should I need to do something? I am worried if I place the gauze the clot that is forming might be ruptured. What should I do? Also what food should I intake today and the next couple days? Thank you.

Were the idlis hot? Take something cold like ice cream to stop the bleeding. Do not spit to check bleeding. Ice compress every hiur on cheek for 5 minutes Soft diet without spices. Avoid hot food. Visit your surgeon today if bleeding persists

Do not spit again and again . What ever saliva comes in mouth take it in ~ take your medicines in time ~ get it checked regularly by your doctor :
