Post Cataract Surgery Issue

It's been more than a month when she got operated for cataract in her right eye. She is refraining putting water directly into the operated eye. She gets swelling in that eye which stays for long. Is that swelling an implication of not putting water in that eye or does it need immediate doctor's consultation?

After the cataract surgery generally we avoid applying tap water to the eye for 2 to 3 weeks depending on the outcome, in your case there is swelling in the eye, which need consultation with the operating surgeon to know what is the issue
