I'm having frequent mental breakdowns, lack of good sleep, disturbed sleep, i'm always tired, i tend to overeat. There's a constant sinking feeling. I don't feel happy very often. Things which used to make me happy, i find them uninteresting. I'm getting socially cutoff.
The symptoms you mention, do seem to be pointing towards depression. Please visit a counsellor or a psychologist who can help you deal with your issues.
