Hi, My baby is 17 days old. He recieved OPV1 at the birth. Next 6 vaccines are due at 6th week. Since today is Polio Vaccination drive. Shall we give him the polio vaccine today as well or there is no need as already done at birth time? Will it be oral or injectable ?

Yes give him the vaccine through polio vaccination drive as well as the immunisation schedule that your pediatrician is following.

Please take polio drops today. They are oral drops. These are extra doses given by the government to keep India polio free. Please support the government by giving these drops as well as routine vaccines.
