Platlate count is low 83000

She is over 8 month pragnant, in CBC her platlate count is low report is attached .during pregnancy her platlate count down continuously..first trimester 2.20 lacs, after 1 month 1.29 ,after that 1.16 ( second trimester) now in third it is 82 k...at early time doctor said it is ok with flactuate platlete count in pragnancy...but now at this stage she refer...and said minimum 1 lacs is needed...we are 15-20 days far from delevery...what to do...while other reports is ok..ultrasound,hepatitis,lft..test is ok...

Yes it is low and area of concern along with pregnancy You need to visit with ggynaecologist she will suggest you consultation with haematologist to know 5he cause it is pregnancy induced ketogenic or due to raised blood pressure So haematologist and gynae both will together manage Treatment  in terms of of follow up counts  infusion  need ,and mode and time if delivery

If the platelet count falls below 50K then there will be increased risk of bleeding during delivery. As you have written there’s falling platelet count over time she needs to be investigated as to why is this happening. Meet a haematologist in your city and try to get a work up done as to the cause. Another thing keep platelet transfusion ready during delivery in case of excessive bleeding and also some non related donor with same blood group in case of fresh blood transfusion during delivery
