Plain ct scan of head and neck

Can someone one explain this of my report CT brain:  Mild S shaped deviation of bony nasal septum noted with impingement of bilateral inferior  turbinate. There is atrophy of right middle turbinates. Minimal mucosal thickening noted in  left maxillary sinus.

Hi. CT scan reports always need to be corelated clinically, meaning, they always have to be seen in connection with the symptoms and other clinical findings. Just a report has no meaning. However, if you do wish to know the interpretation of the report, it means that the central wall of the nose is deviated in such a way that it is almost touching the side walls. And there could be minimal left maxillary sinsusitis (infection of the cheek sinus on the left side). Plz see an ENT specialist with the report and the films of the CT scan to understand the clinical significance. Warm regards, Dr Aanchal, Therapeia centre, Bangalore
