Pilonidal sinus reoccurred in 2 months.
I recently had surgery of pilonidal sinus through practo surgeon. It was good in the start but after just 2 months ( out of which I was on bed rest for 1 month) pilonidal issue reoccurred.
What could be the reason other than bad surgery by practo surgeon?
Pilonidal sinus has a high recurrence rate (despite how good a surgery is done) as the perianal skin always has hairs
The best way to prevent recurrence is to regularly shave off the area.
