It’s important to be cautious with dietary choices while breastfeeding, especially when dealing with health conditions like piles (hemorrhoids). Regarding the consumption of milk shark (dried fish) while breastfeeding, it’s advised to be aware of the mercury content in fish. Larger fish like sharks can contain higher levels of mercury, which is best avoided during breastfeeding due to potential effects on the baby’s nervous system development
Next Steps
It’s always best to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice, considering your specific health circumstances and dietary needs. They can provide guidance on safe dietary choices that won’t worsen piles and are safe for both you and your baby during breastfeeding.
Health Tips
Generally, for hemorrhoids, it’s recommended to consume a diet rich in fiber and fluids to prevent constipation, which can exacerbate the condition.
