I strongly sense that my partner has a narcissistic personality disorder. How do I convince him to seek treatment without enraging him?

Hi your therapist can tell your husband that she wants your husband to come in to better understand you..This was a perfect way for him to come to the therapist since will be of the thought that u r the one needing help. But if you are expecting him to change…it's hard! First of all a person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder does not have the capability to see that there is anything wrong with him. (For simplicity I will refer to a male but women can be equally affected) This is why they do not apologize for any wrong doing because they never do anything wrong. They absolutely cannot be anything less than perfect. So they toss the ball to you saying…”It is YOUR fault!” You can consult with me and discuss your problem in detail Connect with me through practo All the best

If, there is any issue  between you both, you can propose for a counseling for both of you.. So that, you aren't blaming or cornering him for his behavior.. Consult a psychologist.
