  4. Periods stopped. I see a gynaecologist?

My periods are regular always , however this month they are delayed, it's been 5 days over already. Else they used to come 2-3 days before the date. Last month I had a throat allergic infection for which doctor gave steroid delza 6 twice a day for 5 days. Is it due to steroids? When should I see a gynaecologist?

Steroids might not be the issue here.any stress or infection might delay periods.wait for another week if u are sure u are not pregnant and have a check up.connect for further guidance.

Please urine pregnancy test  first...to rule out pregnancy (if not done family planning  operation) 21-35days cycle length is normal.... Steroids  taken for short duration doesn't  affect  periods...

Short course of steroid usually does not delay periods Cycle length up to 37 is considered normal Beyond that you need treatment
