Hi I had started my menstrual cycle on August 9th(but spotting like red gel on 8th August), till 17th August means 8 days had bleeding quite heavily, since 18th August having very less bleed gradually now to spotting. But after almost 11 days, I'm quite worried about this. But in may I had spotting for the entire 5 days and in June had no period and in July had spotting for 8 to 10 days, had met the gynaecologist obestrician had been told to not to worry, but has asked to USG pelvis, need to get examined but this spotting isn't stopped yet. I have quite irregular periods if I put on weight. Will this period problem happen due to hormonal imbalance because of stress? Please address the problem.

Please get a sonography of the lower abdomen done and consult a Gynaecologist with the report. No scientific treatment can be advised without a sonography scan.
