Hello doctors.. My period date is 21st.But still I have an important pooja on 18and 19th I asked my doctor tablet for delaying periods my doct suggested meprate 10mg twice daily for 3days from 17th I took the pills 17 mrng and night then today mrng but afternoon I got my periods!!! Is that normal to get periods while on meprate.. I m worried.. Pls pour some knowledge regarding this.

You don't need to worry It happens sometimes and is normal. You were late to start that medicine. Your period will stop after ur regular cycle duration. Get help if bleeding is more than usual or lasts longer.

You asked for the postponement of your periods rather too late. I would have refused to start the treatment on the 17th when your period date was 21st November. You should have at least 5 clear days difference. Any way the bleeding will stop after your natural periods duration. Don't try to control it now.
