Periods delay

2025-10-04 07:39:26
Hello doctor, I am 21 years old. My last period came on 29th August, and now it’s already 3rd October but still my periods have not started. My cycle is usually regular, but last time it was 44 days long. This time also I am getting all PMS symptoms like cramps, back pain, leg pain, bloating, discharge (watery, creamy, even light brown spotting) but still no bleeding has started. I also had Navratri fasting for 2 days last week. Could this be the reason for delay? Do I need to worry about PCOS or other issues? Please guide me.

No fasting is not the reason for the delay If you are sexually active you need a pregnancy test If not other reasons like pcos deranged thyroid and prolactin levels have to be evaluated
