Hi, I had my periods but my test shows positive. Dried blood and staining happened for 4-5 days followed by regular periods. In fact the bleeding is still going on, but pregnancy test shows positive

As per your description, it's safe to undergo USG and a gynaec opinion. Sometimes we do get false positive results. On the other hand, spotting issues are common these days in the firat trimester. Repeat your test and get the above said investigation done. Further details regarding your LMP, the time period after which you got your test done and the time when bleeding began are required.

Hey! please meet a gynaecologist as soon as possible. The pregnancy kit test checks the levels of “hcg” which is a hormone increased during pregnancy. However there might be other causes which can show this hormone high and the pregnancy kit gives a false positive result. Few tests like ultrasound or per vaginal examination May help in finding the cause. However , the appropriate test required will be advised by the gynaecologist when you meet her in person.
Next Steps
Meet a gynaecologist.
Health Tips
Keep track of amount and colour of period blood. Look for presence of clots. Duration and frequency of periods .

I would advise you to visit a gynecologist so that you can be evaluated and undergo investigations such as HCG, ultrasound to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly.
