Period in anemia

2025-02-01 17:00:35
I have severe period cramps and bleeding on a regular basis. I am suffering from combined deficiency anemia (iron plus b 12) currently. For treatment I am undergoing iron infusion and injections of b12 as prescribed by the doctor. Also taking a multivitamin Meganeuron OD plus once a day.I am due to have my periods in a few days. Is it safe for me to take Meftal spas for my period cramps. Also, what precautions can I take in order to manage my periods during this period? Are my periods going to worsen my anemia?
