Period delayed . What is name of medicine which can help in getting the period .. I took it last time and it helped

What is the cause of delayed period.Maybe pregnancy .Do pregnancy test either by urine or blood.Bhcg is blood test and confirmatory also.If it comes negative means no pregnancy then take tablet for withdrawal.
